Windows 7 compatible with Jayhawk Software?
We only support our latest software versions (JUBS S4,
JUS, JCS and Cougar Mountain's Denali) for Windows 7 64-bit. We have
also ran
into many issues with hardware devices/drivers with the
64-bit version (printers, meter reading devices, bar
code scanners, etc.). Making these devices work
may take additional support time to
get installed and working (not covered by a support
agreement) and some devices may not work with the 64-bit
version.
(Compatibility depends on the vendor and/or may
require updated drivers/software; please contact the
respective vendor.)
If you want to check what your Windows 7 computer has,
you can find out by clicking the "Start" menu button,
then right-click on "Computer" and then choose
"Properties" from the menu. The top section only shows
the Windows Edition (Home, Professional, etc.) The 32-
or 64-bit will display in the section labeled "System"
under the item "System type:" and it should say "32-bit
Operating System." (As you'll see, this is also where
you can see the processor and memory in your computer.) |
