Jayhawk Software is dedicated to honest, quality customer support and satisfaction. Our software is targeted to small to medium size districts who process billing information. Currently there are billing packages for water, sewer, trash, electric, gas and other utilities.

We have had over 1000 installations of our customized billing software since 1980, making it a reliable, time-tested method for billing. Currently, we have customers in 48 states, as well as Canada. We have clients that mail from 50 to 10,000 bills/month.

Saving time is another benefit of our software. For flat-rate billing, hundreds of bills can be calculated per minute. In the case of metered-rate accounts, bills are calculated as quickly as the readings can be entered (we’ve found, over 1,000 readings per day can be entered by the average clerk). AMR devices greatly increase the efficiency for meter reading.

Hardware/Operating System Environment:

Our billing systems are designed for a single-user Windows 98/2000/NT/XP environment (a network upgrade is optionally available).

For printing, we recommend a Lexmark Optra T630 laser printer. Our bill cards are specially designed to work on the Lexmark Optra S or T series printers. These Lexmark Optras were specifically picked due to its ability to handle the thick postcard-stock bills, the special bill card paper size, as well as its speed. Other laser printers may work, but are not supported. Depending on the exact printer model purchased, bills can be generated at a rate of up to 105 per minute.
