^{Electronic Payments - ACH Payments}

^{The Electronic Payments (EP) module allows you to select customers that would like to have their bills paid automatically via some type of electronic transmission (from your office, the bank, and/or the web). If the EP option is selected on a customer, the screen above is available and contains the required EP information. We offer different options for Electronic Payments as follows and will work with your bank to help determine which is best for you:}

	ACH File - Most flexible option...our software creates the EP customer file and you upload it to Secure Website to send Automated Clearing House (ACH) entries to your customers' banks
	Electronic Payments Report - report to be given to the bank and the bank manually makes the ACH entries for you (generally only used if have few electronic paying customers)
	Bank Drafts - prints bank drafts that can be drawn on the customers' accounts when submitted to the bank
	Internet Payments - new option we will be offering soon allowing your customers to log on to a secure site and pay bill via the Internet using credit card or bank account payment (one-time or auto-pay future bills).  Customer also can view bills and payments history on-line (kept in-sync from your utility billing system data).
